Hello, my name is Cinder and I am a nice old girl who is looking for a retirement home. The vets think I am about 10 years old. I came to rescue with an old hip injury that needed surgery. I am a tough cookie and it never bothered me at all. I used my leg like nothing was wrong, probably because it was like that for years. I also had some cancerous masses removed from my mammary glands. I have healed up well and now I am looking for my forever home.

My foster family calls me all kinds of funny names, sin bin, tin tin, cin, but they never call me late for dinner!! I am a typical beagle and boy do I LOVE FOOD!! I eat from a slow feeder bowl, and sometimes will even eat from food puzzles in the yard. Even though I am older, I have even tried to get in the trash can a few times for food that smells good. My foster parents really like me though and say that I am a really sweet and nice dog. I currently live with two other dogs, a beagle and a pitbull and I love running and sniffing in the yard with them, or just laying in the couch. My foster family has a lot of dog beds and I love to lie on those when they are busy and I just hang out. It took me awhile to get the house training thing because I needed to be in my crate after surgery and leash walked after that. I am doing well now with my potty breaks and if you tell me to go potty I listen pretty well.

I am a nice girl that just wants someone to love. I may not have had a lot of interaction with people in the beginning of my life. My reaction when people call or come to get me is to just roll over, even if I am not in trouble. That is also why there are not many good pictures of me. I just hide my face.

If you think I’m the right girl for you, please contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor for more information.
