Look, Mars is sleeping! Look, Mars is chewing on a bone! Whoops, look, Mars has the kids toys! Look how fast Mars runs outside with the other dogs! Uh oh, Mars has a shoe! Awww, Mars is so cuddly.

And that’s just the first five minutes.

Yes, Mars is a male beagle puppy and can have all these attributes -good and bad- in rapid cycling. He’s nine months old and 23 pounds, all puppy love and energy.

Mars is very affectionate. He’s great with kids and other dogs. He is very, very good in a crate and keeps it clean. His potty training is ongoing and he does best if he’s on a schedule.

He just needs a happy, loving home, to continue his lessons and help him to be all he can be.

Five minutes at a time of course!

If you think he’s the friend you’ve been looking for, please contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor.

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements; and for families with very small children, puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets and hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy
