Hello beagle lovers!

My name is Banjo. Well, that’s my new name and I don’t really know it very well. I was brought to the animal shelter by some folks who said they saw me and my beagle brother getting dumped out of a car. My brother got adopted, and I got to go to a foster home!

I really like the other beagles here and love the fenced yard. I’m good with kids but I can be pretty pushy if I want to sit on your lap, so kids 8+ would probably be best since I’m a bigger hound. Speaking of laps, I LOVE to sit next to you or with you or on you, well, you get the picture. I am a major cuddler and love to hear stories about myself whispered in my ear. Foster mom says I could use some manners. I’m not rough, but I don’t know things like “sit,” “down”, etc. I’m sort of a free spirit that way.

I love to go on walks, but don’t really understand I’m not supposed to pull and get kind of crazy. We’re (well, my foster mom is) working on my leash skills and I have a special harness. I just get so excited, though and want to go see anything that moves out there. I can’t help it, I’m a social butterfly.

I’m used to having a beagle buddy, so I’d really like one in my new home and/or someone who wants to spend a lot of time with me. I’m not a big fan of being alone.

Please let Midwest BREW know if I sound like your kind of guy.
