Hello! My name is Eddie Rabbit, but everyone just calls me Eddie! I am a sweet 10 year old boy, who has lots more energy than you would expect for a senior dog! I love to go on long walks to explore and follow scents, but I’m also content with finding some shad and laying on the grass. I rarely bark, unless food is involved! Then I am eager to get in there and eat! My foster mom calls me “One Expression Eddie” because I have such a serious face all the time! She knows I’m happy though, because I always wag my tail when she looks at me. I’m working on adopting a happier face!

I love all humans, and also get along fine with(or maybe just ignore) other dogs Foster mom doesn’t have cats though, so she is not sure how I would act around them. I do have some separation anxiety, and would love to find a family where someone is home most of the time. I do ok in my crate, or at doggy day care, but would much rather have some people and other dogs around to keep me company. They help so much with the anxiety! It is something I will need to continue to work on. For the most part I am potty trained, but still have an accident once in a while.

Foster mom spends time with me teaching me new commands, and I’m getting the hang of that, although I can show a stubborn streak like most Beagles do! I usually prefer the couch or the floor, or even my crate to the dog beds, so foster mom just lets me choose where I want to lay down. I’m not much in to toys, but I am in to pets and cuddles! And belly rubs! I love belly rubs! Can your be my forever family and keep the belly rubs coming? I’d love to share hugs and kisses with you!

Love,

Eddie Rabbit
