This sweet, happy, 11-year old girl is a typical beagle- sassy, loving and stubborn! Bagel is a total sweetie, but don't let her cute face fool you-she still likes to push her luck and hunt for snacks (close your cabinets, secure your trash)!

Great in the car, we’ve been going for hikes and she does awesome! She loves the water and will walk right into the lake and splash around. Good on the leash, good in the fenced backyard. She is a bit vocal when she sees a squirrel or if we are taking too long with her food. Demanding (in the cutest way)! Loves to play with plush toys.

A few special care items- her skin and ears. We are working with the vet on her itchy skin and changed her diet to a sensitive skin food. And like many beagles, she seems to get frequent ear infections. Those long, floppy ears!

She's a little chunky right now, but she's been taking good walks (slow and steady) and eating right and seems to already be dropping some of that weight. Great with everyone she meets- adults, dogs and even cats. She has also been gentle with the kids she’s met.

Bagel is a Midwest BREW alumna from back in the day (as a puppy) and has returned due to some unfortunate circumstances, but she is ready for round two of love and affection. She would do best with a family that will help her watch her weight, and monitor her skin itchies. Walks, snuggles and
short hikes are a must!
