Sissy * Popular Good with DogsDoes not Potty on a LeashWorking on Housetraining
Gender: Female Age: 1 year Status: Available
Adoption Day Info:
Come meet me at BEAGLEFEST!! Saturday, October 1st, 11am to 4pm (Guardian Angel Basset Rescue Dog Park - Dwight, IL)

Sissy is a super sweet and affectionate beagle mix girl.  She is approximately 1 year old and weighs 18 pounds.  She loves cuddling with her humans and offers many kisses and even a little ear or nose nibble when she is excited to see them.

Sissy is young and playful! She loves all sorts of toys including stuffed toys, bones and balls.  She is currently in the chewing stage so she also will help herself to pencils, socks, shoes or toys so it is best to keep those things out of reach.  Sissy really enjoys being around other dogs and likes to run and wrestle with her 6 year old foster brother.  She also does well taking cues from her 14 year old foster sister and knows when not to bother her.

Sissy loves to be with her people and will follow them everywhere.  She is smart and determined and has learned how to open the baby gate or just jump over it if necessary. Sissy is quiet most of the time but will offer up a beagle howl for dogs passing by.

Sissy really enjoys going on walks but has not gone potty while on leash.  She is friendly when she meets dogs or people but gets a little nervous in busy dog parks.  She is not fond of car rides car rides and she can also be a bit of an escape artist.

Sissy sleeps through the night and is working on potty training.  Sissy would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for the energy of a young dog or a family with a dog needing a playmate.  She would do best in a home that gives her lots of affection and regular exercise, engages her mind and most importantly, will love her forever.

NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
